Join us for the first in our Alterations 101 class series and learn how to make your clothing work for your unique body! In this two-hour class, we will learn how to:
Take accurate body measurements
Open and prepare ill-fitting seams
Fit and alter skirt, trouser, and/or dress waistbands for a professional finish
What You Need to Know:
Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machines, notions, and garments to alter. Mountain Laurel Sewing Company will provide all other learning materials. Special accommodations are available - just ask!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our Alterations 101 - Waistband Class is designed for individuals who are ready to take the next step in their sewing journey. Students should be proficient in basic sewing skills before booking this class. Taking the Intro to Sewing Class Series is not required for booking, but you should be able to sew lines and curves before enrolling.
